Tsunami was a massive undertaking, taking close to four years to complete. It is gratifying to see Ned’s hard work and dedication recognised. Ned worked tirelessly on Tsunami right up to the printing deadline, revising and changing, applying himself to every detail.
Earth’s End Publishing are delighted with the nomination of Ned and his book Tsunami for two places in the 2024 New Zealand Children’s and Young Adults Book Awards, specifically the Young Adult Fiction Award and NZSA Best First Book Award categories.
Marrow is all printed and arrived at the distro so should be seeing it out next week if any booksellers have picked it up. If your local hasn’t, please consider asking them to get it in! It’s really hard to do comics in NZ so it would be amazing to sell out this run.
@MarkAbnett Ah, the old, 'But if I print this many, then...' conundrum. I hear you comrade. Be wise! I still think this has been a great result for you so far. Applause!!!
@hanpanmangaki@AllanXia I used to flat with someone who was standing in line at a small post office in Africa and the person ahead of them was someone they went to high school with! NZ Core!
