My views are my own, and probably illegal in Venezuela and Texas. A right of centrist with liberal tendencies working in a creative field. I'm stuffed.๐ณ
@liamvincent26@StewartLundNZ I think it was assumption followed by mischief making. They don't need to prove anything (unless someone produces the booking?) - the denial is enough. Asked and answered as far as I'm concerned.
OPINION: Chris Bishop's attempt to embarrass Labour at Fieldays backfired because it was based on a claim that was not true. The National Minister used a photograph of an empty patch of grass to suggest Labour had failed to show up to New Zealand's largest agricultural event. It collapsed the moment the facts arrived.

@AucklandIsland Isnt moving people to public transport a "temporary fuel-related measure" to buffer the country against global fuel crises and economic volatility? That's what's in the budget...
This is them. Even Hooten doesn't approve. Nor Jim Bolger. They are not our @NZNationalParty - they've taken it over. Nw, hand in hand w Act & NZ First, corruption is rife, they've sown division, sold us out to foreign influence.
What kind of New Zealanders would vote for them?
@terrymckain1 Apologies, of course Maurant was subject to the preceding act of 1956 which covered "State servants" (which included police) who wanted to stand for Parliament.
@terrymckain1 More Labour misinformation! Don't you ever learn? The NZ Police Manual section "Elections and political matters - a guide for Police employees"โwas extensively updated and issued on 9/6/22 (so Andrew Coster/Chris Hipkins). Maurant was subject to Sec 52 of the Electoral Act 1993.
as with fees free, I would see this more as a cost of living policy than a bums in seats one.
the cap will save families a lot of money, while also encouraging some people to start using the train or bus.
@Economissive I dont get this thinking. The Roads of National Significance are critical to everything from safety to provincial development. Unless we just want everyone crammed in 4 cities we need lifelines. Holiday Highway BS is killing Northland.
@sjj711 Lol, Naidoo was a great candidate, but Hipkins coaching him to ignore Police conduct rules was brainless. Labour deserves to get roasted for this.. and they are. Blameing everyone else is just pathetic.
