@jasonmauck1 Any experience with soybeans and covers drilled together and covers terminated in summer using covers basically as a pre herbicide? NE SD not ready to make the jump to relays baby steps
@DJBuseman@blonglet Oh really when I was checking a steel and lumber building weren’t that far apart just with steel was the concrete extra vs pole barn
@jasonmauck1 Worked out pretty good for the guys in the 80s. Went bankrupt had an auction government bailed them out and they got to keep the land and now rent it out to highest bidder every three years.
@EthanMidkiff “Earlage” here. Get the benefit of the silage process and still a high protein feed plus a little fiber. Helps keep rations a little wetter versus a dry corn
@johnkempf 1. Most “native range” is made up of non native species, ex. Brome grass. 2. Multiple animal species would greatly improve pasture quality, and performance. 3. Fence, labor, and water are the biggest set backs
You don’t need military experience to understand or work in foreign policy.
However, if every time a problem presents itself & your go-to is US military intervention, you need to go enlist in the infantry.
Not JAG, pilot, intel etc. go be a grunt, taste what u are offering.
@KLB_7@jdschopfer@jerodmcdaniel Well I was wondering if the oat pea silage would be able to replace corn silage for beef cows and backgrounding calves and then I’d be able to plant a cover after where as with corn silage it gets too late in the year
@KLB_7@jerodmcdaniel Can this replace corn silage for cows and background calves? Would rather plant this and then go back with cover crop where with corn it gets too late in the year to get any cover back on
@jerodmcdaniel Was just thinking when will the day come commodity crops are raised in large buildings? Especially up north here get 2 crops a year control heat and water how many bushels could you grow a year? Not saying it’s a good thing just can see it happening
@jasonmauck1 Any luck finding a decent way to separate the corn and beans? Would it be better to put 2 oilseeds or grasses together? Maybe wouldn’t see the benefit of two different crops then
