@erinotoole@RoyalEndeavour@UCCavalier Who has ever argued that people shouldn't be treated with respect? The issue is whether their personal self-image should be normative for 40M other Canadians. Why should women be forced to allow someone into their private space who is oviously not a woman?
@callistaryan You can label her words 'hateful rhetoric' as much as you like; are they true? Were the remains of 215 children found in Kamloops, or not? Your first priority for your constituents should be honest communications, not moral grandstanding.
@NightShiftMD Lol, and the former PM campaigning on the promise to segregate part of the population wasn't political? Why don't you address the claims being made at the inquiry - are they true?
@RodMakeKidsBald@AFleetingImpre1@preta_6 Exactly! She could've avoided all of this if she just wasn't so uppity, and parroted lies the way her betters told her to. Her choice all the way.
@seikjaboote@Erin4Parents "25% were policy-only; they affected NO students."
Should parents wait until they DO affect their children before they act? It's the policies that are at issue.
"25% involved essentially only name/pronoun use."
How is this something many parents would not be concerned about?
@JAYMKTG@ConfusedMathem1@PabloTorre But that's exactly he and others are trying to make - he shouldn't even have the option of trying out for the draft, because he's not a woman, no matter how he identifies. They're forcing the WNBA to take a public stand one way or another.
@dilanesper Nobody is complaining about not being able to say what they want whenever they want to. The issue is being compelled to say things you don't believe are true, or are even societally harmful, as a condition of continued employment, or as in Canada, of avoiding fines.
@Rumad27@JulesDiner I think it was discussed, but didn't become law:

Big box stores in Quebec did require store escorts for the unvaxxed to but food and groceries however.

@Averyflash@BHMA25316630@AlexMurphysLaw@jonkay Were the courts also 'deluded' when they ruled the PMs invocation of the Emergency Act illegal? There were genuine violations of civil liberties during C19; sorry if you didn't see it, but others did, and stood up and said so.
@Averyflash@AlexMurphysLaw@jonkay Students were required to be vaxxed even for online courses - how is that not total theater? The damage was done by the govt violating people's rights, not those who stood up against it.
@LandonHall@MeghanEMurphy How many slaves were being bought and sold in Maine before emancipation? If the number was super low then they shouldn't have got all worked up about it, right? Stop excusing obvious injustice because it's not happening to you personally.
@MiloCoastie@Riley_Gaines_@EllaFrei17 And yes, men who demand entry into women's spaces without their consent absolutely*should* be treated as a threat.
@MiloCoastie@Riley_Gaines_@EllaFrei17 Lol. And yet all the people talking word salads about 'gender fluidity' are still the product of one egg plus one sperm; just like the normies and Christians. Go figure.
@MiloCoastie@Riley_Gaines_@EllaFrei17 I am a Christian, and I definitely would never claim to be any sort of feminist. But I do support the right of both men and women to not be forced to pretend to believe absurdities.
@MiloCoastie@Riley_Gaines_@EllaFrei17 You're right; it's not primarily about any threat. It's about the injustice of women and girls having to participate in the farce of allowing men and boys into their spaces while pretending they're girls. Whether they're a threat or not is secondary.
