With 48 billion barrels of proven crude oil, Libya has the largest oil reserves in Africa and one of the top ten in the world.

The country has a population of 7.5 million people which makes her the 105th on population ranking in the world.

Nigeria also has oil reserves too. And with her 37.5 billion barrels, she has the largest oil reserves in sub -Sahara Africa.

Nigeria has a population of 240 million people and ranks as the 6th most populated country in the world.

So while per head, a Libyan has 6,400 barrels of crude oil, his Nigerian counterpart has 156.25 barrels.

Libya sells refined products at the lowest price in the world because it is subsidised.

However, Aljazeera, Rueters and other major international news sources have reported that the country is seriously considering removing fuel subsidy.

Many documentaries show that fuel is being smuggled to neighbouring countries like Tunisia and so Libya can no longer continue to subsidise not for its citizens but also for its neighbours.

It was reported that while $10 can fill a car tank In Libya, you’ll need $60 to do that in Tunisia and so smuggling prospers.

Most Libyans don’t get fuel at gas stations as a result of this smuggling and an Aljazeera reports says that a litre of diesel could be sold for $8 ie N10,640 only.

One litre of diesel in black due to non availability at gas stations.

It is because of this that all top contenders for president in Nigeria said that they would remove it if they became president but only one will be chosen and crowned by God at a time and that is Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While Obi and his rival on the NDC ticket are confusing their followers, Atiku has promised to return it even though, his running mate and his spokesperson said otherwise too.

The question is if Libya with a population less than that of Bauchi state (7.8m) is working towards removing it, on what basis will anyone make such promise to the people of Nigeria after he called it a monumental fraud that must go just over three years ago?

HOW TO QUICKLY TRANSFER EVERYTHING FROM YOUR OLD PHONE TO A NEW ONE WITHOUT LOSING ANYTHING

Switching phones does not have to be stressful. Here is exactly how to move everything across without losing a single file:

- ANDROID TO ANDROID:

Most Android phones have a built in transfer app. Samsung uses Smart Switch, Xiaomi uses Phone Clone, and OnePlus uses Clone Phone. Download the same app on both phones, open it on both, follow the pairing instructions, select what you want to transfer, and keep both phones close together. Everything moves over Wi-Fi directly between the two phones in 15 to 45 minutes depending on how much data you have.

If your new phone does not have a transfer app, go to Settings on your old phone, tap System, then Backup, and back up everything to Google Drive.

On your new phone, sign in with the same Google account during setup and restore from that backup.

- iPhone to iPhone:

Place your new iPhone next to your old one during the initial setup. Your old phone will show a prompt asking if you want to help set up the new device. Tap it, hold your old phone's camera over the animation on the new screen, and follow the instructions. This is called Quick Start and it transfers everything including photos, contacts, apps, settings, and most app data in one session wirelessly.

- Android to iPhone:

Install the "Move to iOS" app from Google Play Store on your Android phone. During your iPhone setup, select "From Android" on the Apps and Data screen. Open Move to iOS on your Android, follow the prompts, and select everything you want to transfer. Keep both phones connected and close together until the transfer is complete.

- iPhone to Android:

Install the "Switch to Android" app from the App Store on your iPhone. Connect both phones with a USB-C to Lightning cable, follow the prompts, and the app transfers your contacts, photos, videos, and WhatsApp chats directly.

- For WhatsApp specifically on any phone:

Go to WhatsApp, tap Settings, then Chats, then Chat Backup, and tap Back Up Now before switching phones. This saves all your chats to Google Drive on Android or iCloud on iPhone. Restore them when you set up WhatsApp on your new phone.

Once you confirm everything transferred successfully, factory reset your old phone before selling or giving it away.

Above all, love God.

[Habu Sadeik @HabuSadeik]

Atiku wants petrol subsidy back.

Let's say N400 per litre

Market price is about N1,300. That is a N900 gap.

NMDPRA puts consumption at roughly 50 million litres a day.

50m x N900 = N45 billion. Per day.

N1.37 trillion a month.

N16.4 trillion a year.

Now hold that against what Oyedele announced this week. N15.8 trillion mobilised for the Federation across 31 months of subsidy removal.

Everything the country has gotten since June 2023 would be gone in 11 and a half months.

Not the first term. The first year.

And that assumes demand stays at 50 million litres, which it will not. At N400 with Cotonou and Maradi still at market price, the trucks find the border sharp.😉

Budget for 65 million litres and you are at N21 trillion.

This also means taking 2/3 of the current governors allocation. Governors go gree keh?😄

Restoring subsidy at N400 means the Federation writing an actual cheque to a private refiner for the N900 difference. Roughly N45 billion a day. N1.37 trillion a month. (Because NNPC is not doing DSDP again)

We have run this film before in the power sector. It was called NBET, and the arrears are still on somebody's balance sheet.

What would you do with N16.4 trillion a year instead?

Abeg no insults me oo, I be Elderstateman for my village. Toh🙄

Yet Peter Obi and his gang of terrorists wants Nigeria to turn overnight

[David Ornside @David_Ornside]

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Real Madrid will not improve the new contract offer to Vinicius Junior and are willing to let him join Arsenal for €200m.

The player is still on holiday and a meeting with Jose Mourinho has been scheduled immediately when he returns to the club to discuss what is best for both parties.

A move to Arsenal is likely if Vinicius doesn't accept the contract extension.

See Question: “what are you doing in terms of voter education to prepare voters to take charge of the voting process?”

See Peter Obi reply:👇🙆😭😭

[Sofia khatun @sofia3973]

4. Did anything surprise you?

This question works because kids don't expect it. It skips past the script they've rehearsed in the car.

My son said "yeah, Mrs. Patterson cried during read-aloud." That turned into a 20-minute conversation about empathy.

From a boy who usually gives one-word answers.

[Sofia khatun @sofia3973]

3. What was the hardest part of today?

He said gym class. I asked why. He said a kid told him he runs weird.

We practiced running in the backyard that evening. Just us. No pressure.

The next week he came home and said "I was fastest today."

He didn't need me to fix it. He needed me to know about it.

[Sofia khatun @sofia3973]

2. Who did you sit with at lunch?"

This one broke me. He said "nobody" on a Tuesday in July. I almost dropped the Walmart bag I was carrying.
I called his teacher the next morning. Turns out three boys had been excluding him for weeks.

He never would have told me if I'd asked "how was school."

[Sofia khatun @sofia3973]

1. What made you laugh today?

My 9-year-old told me about a kid who sneezed milk out of his nose at lunch. Then he told me about the math test he failed. Then he told me his best friend said something mean at recess.

All from one question.

"Fine" is a wall. Laughter is a door.
