There was room.
Jack didn’t die from physics. He died because the movie needed a funeral.
Rose let him freeze so the ending would hit. That’s not romance. That’s a choice.
Love story, or the most successful lie in blockbuster history?
Pick a side
Judge Judy didn’t have to call her a liar the woman’s tears started doing the arguing for her.
That is what makes the exchange so funny: the more emotional she gets, the less room there is for the actual argument.
Judge Judy stays completely matter-of-fact while the other side seems to be fighting for control of the conversation.
The contrast is the whole joke one person is trying to win the moment emotionally, and the other refuses to play along.
I (27M) had just come out of a long-distance relationship that had slowly gone cold. I didn’t want to sit with the emptiness, so I downloaded a dating app for the first time in years. Until then I’d only ever flirted or sexted; nothing ever left the screen.
A few days later I matched with a girl who made it obvious she liked it rougher than I was used to. We spent hours trading filthy hypotheticals. She suggested a date. I said yes. Then she cancelled and admitted she had a boyfriend. I stayed in the conversation anyway. The flirting never stopped.
A few nights later, just after I got off work, she texted “u up?” Fifteen minutes later we were standing in front of each other for the first time.
We walked through a half-empty, run-down old-town street, stopping whenever we felt like it to kiss. At the bar she sat so close my thigh was between hers. Every time the music got loud she leaned in so I had to speak against her ear; each time I did, she stole a kiss. By the time she said she was bored and wanted to leave, she was looking at me like she already owned the night.
On the way to the car I had my hand under her sundress, grabbing her ass while she moaned filthy things into my ear and I called her a good slut. We couldn’t go back to my place, so we had to sneak into the house she still shared with her family the same family who knew and liked her boyfriend.
We barely made it onto her bed before she pulled my pants down and started sucking me. It didn’t last. She shoved her dress up, climbed on, and rode me like she was trying to break me. I just said “please.”
We stripped the rest of the way. I put her on her back, told her how wet and perfect she felt, and started fucking her the way she’d asked for slow at first, then hard enough that she had to bite her lip to stay quiet. My hand found her throat. I squeezed and told her she was mine. Her eyes rolled and she begged me to come inside her.
I did.
We stayed tangled together until her family left in the morning. Then she snuck me out.
Priest: “Would anyone like to say a few words?”
Son: “My father was a good man.”
A voice from the coffin: “Don’t start lying now.”
Son: “This isn’t funny.”
Voice: “Neither was the will you read last night.”….
The lion disappears right before everyone’s eyes, Then somehow ends up inside the cage.
Nobody in the audience expected that twist. Watch closely you might miss the exact moment it happens.
The look on Namonds face when wee- bey is talking. It's like he knows he can never be his dad. He can fake it all he wants.
But deep down he knows they not cut from the same cloth.
I'm just glad that Wee Bey did for Namond what Avon didn't do for D'Angelo. I respect Wee Bey for letting his son go the right path.
Wee-bey was actually a pretty cool father, who was looking out for what was best for his son.
He was initially in denial about Namond, not being the great street soldier that he was, but you could tell he really loved and believed in his son. Wee-bey never reformed like Cutty, but he did the right thing for his son.
He ended up being the 'key' to Namond getting off the streets and surviving, by giving him over to Colvin, to raise him.
DeLonda was the WORST mother ever. She did not care anything about Namond. He was a trophy to her “Wee-Bey's son” rather than her own child needing love and protection.
She thought material things, new clothes and all that was what he needed. She could care less about his education, about him doing anything more with his life than becoming the next Wee-Bey.
Wee bey saw right through his sons weak front, but didnt bother to call him on it.
just tried to convey to namond that he ain’t built for the game.🎬🍿
@ebrusstories This hits different coming from an entertainment page. Most of the people we watch on screen spent years in silence before anyone clapped.
A message for the younger generation:
You don’t have to rush the process. Build your character, develop your skills, stay disciplined, and keep learning.
Success is not always about how fast you arrive, but about who you become along the way.
Your future is being built by what you do today. Make it count.
@Talkwithsisib Everyone else wanted a piece of Marilyn. She wanted one person who wouldn’t cash it in. Joan cashed it in anyway, just decades later, and as a joke.
