@FrostyMacHS @smilesinmay It's not the main focus, as they conclude "both answers lead to them being a hero, so they might as well fight off the villain". While obviously not the same thing as with the doctor, it does show that this mystery can work in stories, even if as a somewhat background element.

@FrostyMacHS @smilesinmay I actually came up with a pretty interesting way this "Rose Doctor" could handle a Dalek story. and my current Uni project is a comic in which a character has the name of one superhero, but the face of another, and while such a mystery haunts them... (Cont. again. Damn you Elon)

@WhovianLife "Story and the engine". But honestly, I enjoy all of his episodes. (Yes, even the two finales everyone hates.)
One of the few doctors I can saw that about. Even my favourite Capaldi had a few stories I didn't like.
