@JoshHousden England should follow Scotland in its electoral system . Additional Member for Westminster and STV for Council elections but that does mean all councillors are elected every four years from a list system

@DanielJHannan We could have had wealth from North Sea gas but Thatcher sold off the industry rather than nationalise it . Norway kept its revenue . Under Thatcherism Public housing was sold of cheaply , the Water privatised . Both Conservative and Labour have made mistakes based on ideology .

@bernadette67_a @Ganymeade2631 @Kevin_Maguire Reform's share of the vote across the UK accounted for 27% and its unlikely that would achieve a majority in Westminster . If the UK keeps FPTP then opposing left and centre groupings will just have to do a deal to block Reform . Better to have PR
