@ShadowyZephyr@sillyenthused Yeah, and like the little private practice dentist he's stealing from isn't some big corporation (not that that's okay either)
@CrownMaybe It's the same problem as treating all politicians as corrupt -- then when a politician is actually corrupt there's no political will to do something about it. If you exaggerate a problem, the real thing will be ignored
@AlexSalvati3@itskahuna@dilanesper So to be clear, you think the only objection anyone can have to "a mandate... to ensure all Americans have health care" is on the grounds that they don't care about other people?
@AlexSalvati3@itskahuna@dilanesper That's certainly true; I don't want to get into an abortion debate with you. I was really trying to hammer down one point exactly -- what is the massive contradiction that exists *within my own worldview* and in order to establish that you have to accept my premises
@AlexSalvati3@itskahuna@dilanesper I'll admit, I'm a little confused by not wanting to kill the baby *inside* the womb necessitates support for M4All, but not wanting to kill the baby *outside* the womb necessitates only the state stepping in in certain situations, as you say
@AlexSalvati3@itskahuna@dilanesper But I assume that you're against murdering disabled people after they were born, so there too, you're chaining parents to disabled children. Does that logically force you to support M4All? And if not, what's the difference?
