@AnimalsCount Ridiculous. They could have simply relocated the bench or add a small canopy above it.. doesn’t need too much to think about it. But of course they will say “it’s too expensive”. But wildlife is invaluable. And so are trees.

@sinichol @MsKHoney2 @MayorofLondon Roads are gridlocked by cars. We’re all suffocating because of air pollution caused by cars. That’s a fact. People die from respiratory conditions more than ever. What’s your solution to the problem? How will you reduce car use in a city which has excellent public transport 27/7?

@atkin_julie @personasasa @IslingtonBC It may well be that the pollution overall is decreased in the Borough after the measures were adopted. In the article it says that they apologised because the monitoring was carried out poorly hence they stopped it. Next step is to hire a different contractor to do it properly..

@atkin_julie @personasasa @IslingtonBC This Is such a simplistic comment to make. LTNs may have increased the pollution on specific roads due to drivers redirecting their car trips instead of using their cars less. We can’t know until an in-depth incl estimation is carried out...

This is Leith walk in broad daylight. Unbelievable.
My colleague's bike saved by some passers-by's intervention. She left her bike for less than an hour. The passers-by guarded the bike until her return. Some awful people however some good people too.

Yes you are. You could do three journeys for that shopping instead and ride a bike or walk..they would still be pollution/impact-free compared to carrying your 1+ tonne metal box to the shop..
