The energy in the rooms was inspiring. Farmers shared real challenges; from post-harvest losses to limited market access and together we explored how digital solutions can unlock new opportunities. By the end of the sessions, 435 businesses registered on the platform in one week

Over the week, our team has been on the ground meeting farmers, agribusiness owners, and food traders to introduce them to the #NutrigrabApp and explore how digital tools can transform the way agriculture works.

Instead of letting surplus harvest go to waste, farmers and businesses explored how excess produce can be redirected to new buyers, or communities that need it. Through Nutrigrab’s online marketplace, farmers can now list surplus agro-produce and reach customers

We had different hands-on sessions throughout the week including sessions on communication and storytelling skills, fundraising, financial management, and using technology to supercharge fundraising. Each session was practical and evidence based with real time applications.

ECOBED BIOTECH INITIATIVE had the privilege of participating in The New Africa Fund workshop in #Kigali, Rwanda together with a diverse cohort of 10 ambitious social entrepreneurs from all-over Africa.
