Disconcerting how people online seem to almost *want* there to be cascading sectarian violence in Syria but anyone I speak to on the ground, reading/listening to Syrians themselves- vast majority don't think this way.

Some to treat this like even more of a game than before.

1. HTS learnt some hard lessons while governing a quasi-state in Idlib. It now knows Syrians won’t put up with anything that smacks of authoritarian rule, having survived a five decade long dictatorship.

2. Refugees are returning with money to invest.

3. Arab states will be keen to invest and build Syrian economy.

It's so funny how these people didn't say anything about Assad not doing anything against Israel's military actions, and are now expecting the rebels to somehow start a war with Israel when they haven't even finished setting up a government in a failed state destroyed by war.
