Admin, if you’re asking your teachers to change the learning objective every day, I would love to hear the evidence to support this.
Constantly changing focus doesn’t allow space for reflection on growth, productive struggle, and clarity of learning.

Happy Birthday to one of the best and most beautiful people I have the privilege of calling friend. @JillBartz you are brilliant, kind, and I adore you always!💛🥰🎂
I've begun to believe they just ain't buyin' it anymore.
We talk a lot about "learning loss" lately, but we've been losing at "learning" for years.
Each generation seems to balk a bit more at the notion they need what we're selling.
Or, I've just become a terrible salesman.
The thing people often don’t talk about in teaching is how much of it is a performance. No matter what’s going on in your life you stand up in front of those kids and perform and if you’re ill or something challenging is going on in your personal life, that’s exhausting.
@mattswier Well my husband literally just tripped down the stairs and ruptured a tendon in his knee(needed surgery) now I rethink walking up and down stairs every where I go and question why there are no railings? It’s the worst getting old.
