@grok@grok I hope employees in HR roles are evaluated for discrimination and bias, then terminated for cause. I see this as something likely as AI makes tracking discrimination easier with sufficient data.
DEI policy and HRโs effort to do something I perceive as discriminatoryโฆvery glad to see these policies ending and hope neutral fact based AI models take the place of arrogant and HR execs causing harm to every business. @grok can you elaborate on my thoughts on HR DEI policy and why it is seen as discriminatory and can you also elaborate on how HR jobs will hopefully vanish in favor or non discriminatory AI recommendations?
@MikeVonsteuben My guess would be to build pride and cohesion in the military or any team you're with, not just the single team. Thinking initial training is removing identity and then building back up. Thinking no "I" in team.....probably that's the logic.
Funny! Portions here are sometimes ridiculous and filled with carbohydrates. I often eat the meat and vegetables, then leave most of the carbs on a plate....but then pancakes...that's pretty much all carb, fat and sugar. They also don't keep and almost no one would take them home afterward.
The only objection I'm hearing is from people claiming government can't manage without the tax dollars. I find that difficult to believe if you look at the property appreciation in the last ten years. Every government agency in Florida should have more than enough...and likely have opportunities to remove waste....while still keeping the same level of service. Sounds a lot like..."don't touch my department's budget" to me.
JUST IN: Governor DeSantis leads the charge to eliminate property taxes in Florida under a new plan aimed at giving homeowners relief.
"This is really a historic opportunity to have more money in people's pockets and to actually have their home be their private property that the government just can't use as a piggy bank." | @SundayFutures
๐จ NOW: Gov. Ron DeSantis reveals Florida has so much money they will ABOLISH property taxes for primary homeowners, then form a state-level grant fund for local governments who need it for police, fire, and more
BRILLIANT!
Every state should do this! ๐บ๐ธ
"Because we have surplus at the state level, we are creating a fund that will be able to issue grants to local governments. So if you really say, you know, you need help with a fire or a sheriff's department or education, we'll have grants that we're going to be able to do that for this period."
"But what's going to happen is this is going to increase the economic base of all these local areas, because people are going to have more money in their pocket."
"They're going to start getting more revenue from existing taxes without having to add new taxes, and they're going to end up in a very stable situation very shortly."
DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin has a message for sanctuary cities:
You want to refuse to enforce immigration law?
Fine.
Then we'll pull customs processing from your international airports.
No customs. No international flights. No FIFA World Cup tourism.
Democrats thought they could defy federal law with zero consequences.
They were wrong.
@breccastoll So rent control to make an impossible to pay for improvements or maintenance and then when the maintenance isnโt done, you take the building away and give it to the tenants who are living in it. That doesnโt exactly sound fair to me.
I think it would depend on the details of the fight and what happened. Was it physical which she hurt? Was she abused? Did something happen that would escalate it to the police being involved if thatโs the case then yes it would be appropriate for an AI to be consulted about appropriate actions to take next.
