Belated thanks Richard @Leverstockltd. When our schools closed we found our phone solution unable to support remote working. Really glad to have met Richard at an @ISBL_news event - he was able to get 50+ staff up an running overnight meaning extra support for pupils and families

@MrPranPatel Traditionally GB’s are stakeholder models hence elected parent/staff. Most GB’s co-opt the remaining governors based on required skills/qualifications, ie legal/HR/finance, undertaking annual skills audits to assess needs. Prevent/Safeguarding training given. DBS checks mandatory

Nicely said. The mantra of most consultants appears to be: “Whip up fear and reap the rewards!”. I have absolute faith in the ability of Head Teachers to intelligently consider the new framework for their settings.
