Dear @jack: My Twitter account, @terryteachout, was hacked this morning. Obscene and racist messages were posted on it, after which I received a phone call from England demanding ransom. The same hackers also attacked my e-mail and telephone accounts.
Everybody but @TwitterSupport has been incredibly helpful to me on this matter. Unfortunately, I cannot get your support people to delete my old account (I have since started a new one, @TerryTeachout1) and transfer my verification there.
As a result, there are still obscene and racist tweets posted under my name. I can't believe that no one will help me solve this problem. I'm a columnist for the @wsj, and I would hate to think that I'd have to write a piece for them in order to get help from you. Must I do that?
Notice: Terry Teachout, a preeminent American critic & biographer, has had to move to the @TerryTeachout1 handle. He’ll be very grateful for followers to join or rejoin him there.
@TerryTeachout1 has written important books about Louis Armstrong and H.L. Mencken, neither of whom would understand the sentence “Hackers held my social media account to ransom” without explanations that were also book-length
Wow. Instapundit deactivated his Twitter account because of their extremist tactics and silencing of conservatives. Not good, @Jack. Not good. https://t.co/HizvkatZe0
.@instapundit was one of my first follows. Following him is like following about 15,000 people. Nice work, @jack. I assume you had a staff meeting to find new and creative ways to screw up your company and you nailed it.
Jim Acosta lectured President Trump about the migrant caravan saying:
- Not an invasion
- Hundreds of miles away
- Would not jump border wall
I overlaid actual footage from today of the migrant caravan storming the border to invade the US over Jim's question.
I hope you enjoy:
