Sadly I remember when we could use a 24mm lens to photograph F1. We literally could touch the cars as they went by at some tracks. Now they keep you so far away, you have to carry around 600mm boat anchor.

Today, it’s the most restricted form of Motorsports photography. While it’s cool to have the title of F1 photographer, other forms of Motorsport allow more creativity for the photographer.
