@sappholives83 Thanks to Conservative privatisation of domicilary care in the early 1990’s this huge chaotic & suboptimal clinical care mess was created due to the desire for profit nothing more nothing less. It all needs reigning back in to either NHS or local authority governance now!!

The risk of harm from hypoglycaemia & jaundice levels above exchange line is immeasurable in the perinatal period.

@BlondiieMama @Dr_DeanS Whilst I’m far from an advocate of birth centres & their likes..30+ years of working in the perinatal arena & still do..salvaging/stabilising more infants from busy central expert delivery suites following suboptimal care is somewhat far more common
