Glad to help #Guam#Baseball Academy’s summer camp a little bit. It’s fun to do some training with those lovely kids.
Surprisingly, there’s a Taiwanese boy coming to Guam specifically for joining the camp. I was so happy when he said he’s enjoying the trip.
I appreciate that the Post published my column in the Community Health Improvement Week. We look forward to seeing colleges, clinics, hospitals, and other capable organizations promote patients’ self-care and help people learn first aid skills to upgrade our community health.
We are celebrating Community Health Improvement Week #CHIweek with @ahahospitals. We look forward to seeing colleges and healthcare institutions in Guam promote patients’ self-care and help people learn first aid skills👇

I learned in the past two weeks that several people I knew suddenly died from stroke or heart attack. I hope my column reminds people that hypertension is damaging our heart and blood vessels even though we don’t see any symptoms. Please manage your blood pressure carefully.
The World Hypertension League will observe #WorldHypertensionDay on May 17. The column contributed by us reminds people whose blood pressure is consistently above 130/80 mm Hg to seek medical assistance even though they don’t see any symptoms👇

Thousands of Ukrainian children have been unlawfully deported or forcibly transferred to Russia. This is a horrible crime. The international community must pursue accountability for the Russian government’s actions in Ukraine.
An estimated 20,000 Ukrainian children have been unlawfully deported or forcibly transferred to Russia.
This is criminal and wrong.
We are co-hosting the High-Level Meeting for the Return of Ukrainian Children. Alongside Ukraine, Canada, and EU countries, our goals are clear ↓

🏥 This morning our outpatient medical clinic started treating patients next to the hospital in Saipan that was damaged.
🚰 A water filtration system is up and running in Sugar Dock for those in need of clean water.
⛪ Through our local church partners, we have distributed 275 rolls of tarp, 1,500 solar lights, 400 mosquito nets, 300 blankets, and 30 generators.
We are so thankful for our local church partners who have helped make this work possible!
🚨 If you are in need of assistance, we encourage you to connect with churches on the island, visit our water filtration station in Sugar Dock, or come see our medical staff at the Emergency Field Hospital.

When the first quarter of the year comes to an end and the future is full of uncertainty, this message from His Holiness the #DalaiLama is so heartfelt and meaningful 🙏
MESSAGE
I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach.
Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace.
An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters.
I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end.

We visited Madagascar last February and found a boy with multiple congenital anomalies, including cleft lip. We therefore help the boy got to Taiwan’s TMU Hospital last September.
After 3 surgeries, he is now healthy and leaving Taiwan for home today👇

Glad to see the UN is finally doing its job. The #UN General Assembly adopted by a wide margin on Tuesday a resolution supporting #Ukraine and backing Ukraine’s international borders.

Although I knew Guam’s obesity epidemic, I was still surprised the CDC’s data showed Guam’s obesity prevalence increased fast.
That’s why I shared the info in my column with the community. Hopefully, some more people in Guam will be willing to live a healthier lifestyle soon.
When the CDC released 2023 Adult Obesity Prevalence Maps in Sep. 2024, #Guam’s adult #obesity rate has been above 35% for the first time. On the 2024 map released in Dec. 2025, Guam’s number significantly increases to 40.2%.

I was lucky to run into #CNMI Governor Mr. Apatang during lunch and got the chance to mention my hope that tourists can visit multiple islands in the region within one trip. They told me it’s exactly their “One #Mariana” concept.
Glad to see Mr. @HHS_Jim mentioned how Taiwan issues during the pandemic showed WHO’s incompetence. Please allow me to invite everybody reading my article regarding this 👉🏻 https://t.co/fEPa7PWoMr
Today the United States withdrew from the so-called World Health Organization.
WHO ignored early COVID warnings from Taiwan in 2019 by pretending Taiwan did not exist. It ignored rigorous science and promoted lockdowns.
The United States will continue international coordination on infectious disease without the Eurocrats in Geneva. @WHO
As a Chevening Scholar, I am glad to learn the reunion event of @CheveningFCDO alumni in Taipei was successful although I wasn’t able to be there.
Thank you, @UKinTaiwan ❤️
