This is one of the Situational Judgement Tests (SJTs) that final year medical students in the UK sit. It is worth 50% of their mark. And I can confidently say it is RUBBISH. What is this appalling #presenteeism and frank workplace #bullying? 🤨

@LiangRhea@gmcuk ... and what about the poor student who is trying to double guess what the examiners are looking for here - whether examiners rate 'presenteeism' highly or whether they have moved into the 21st century and value work-life boundaries.
There is often a misconception that being a surgeon is all about the technical skills in performing an operation.
Our technical skills are only one of 10 competencies that makes us who we are as modern day surgeons.

Other things I advise friends to do: 1. Take notes. It focuses Drs. And 2. Learn a few words of jargon in their specialty. “So Doctor what’s my left ventricular fraction looking like?” “So Doctor have you got the histology back?” Then watch how the conversation changes.
