I don't think public / readers realise how much time we spend dealing with complaints about court cases / inquests where people say we've published "without permission". It's steadily increasing: courts & coroners need to play their part in raising awareness of media coverage.

@JournoMikeT There were so many times I responded to complaints about someone's court appearance appearing in the paper and saying their reputation was at risk (professional or otherwise) because we didn't seek permission to publish their drug dealing/violence/drink-driving, etc.
