@IslesFix @ChrisBottaNHL You're 100% right. I never trusted this team to be more than fighting for a playoff spot. The defense was "so thin it liquified in the pan with just a little bit of oil" 🤣. We have the same ideology on the current roster.

@IslesFix @ChrisBottaNHL Agreed. I'm not saying it offsets the other very suspect deals at all, but he deserves credit for that one after a year of results amidst the criticism. Regarding my other comment, the rest of the roster seems be getting a hall pass because of the deadline. Love the pod BTW.

I'm not saying to go nuts, but it's notable that the 24yo was 2nd in fwd goals. Your thoughts 10 m ago, of course, didn't include a season of on-ice data that were mostly posi.

@NHLMedia @penguins @NYIslanders I can’t understand why you’d bury one of the biggest games of the season, in regards to the playoff push, on NHL Network. It’s the least accessible station for all national games.

@NHLPR @NHL I believe this is the 3rd straight, or close to it, Islanders game on NHLN. I don't have an issue with the network, but you negatively affect out-of-market fans that don't have live TV subs. Every other national broadcast has a streaming option except NHLN.

@NHLPR Is there any way to stream games on the NHL Network? Myself, and others, have not had cable for years and lose the opportunity to watch games when they’re on it. I’m outside of the NY market, so there are no ways to watch other than finding a bootleg stream. I watch on ESPN+.

@PhysicsSwitch I hear ya and I did see your post earlier about male and female skins. I'm not into the pro scene either, but this dude is super fun to watch because his skill is beyond what I can do. He doesn't scream and yell. I see other streamers get one, but he deserves it. That's all.

@PhysicsSwitch I agree. This was such a fun season. The map changes were cool and fit the storyline perfectly. The battlepass was fun too. I still use those skins.

@LHHockey It did. This is from @Pensburgh "...a trade with the New York Islanders today to bring NHL veteran winger Bill Guerin to Pitt in exchange for a conditional pick.  (5th round pick if the Pens don't make the playoffs, 4th round if they do, 3rd round pick if they go past the 1st rd)
