Stefanovic now enters the classic cooker career path:
Get removed, declare martyrdom, tour the grievance circuit, then spend the next few years making terrible content for right-wing fuckos who think being fact-checked is communism.
@exQUIZitely Sitting inside the cabinet and to hear “Red 5, I’m going in”, or “Remember, the force will be with you, always” made me want to come back for more! The act of sitting inside for a flight sim or racing game added so much to the experience.
@exQUIZitely I remember at high school they had an amber screen monitor. We used to play Kings Quest and Ancient Art of War at school on it and it seemed so much more advanced than a regular green screen, despite being the same resolution.
A month after saying Australians are hurting from the cost of living crisis, Pauline Hanson thinks "lower class Australians - the ones who are not on high wages" already get enough help.

@exQUIZitely The Toccata music was magical! I tried playing this on PC via MAME a while back but next to impossible with direction keys. MAME was an emulator for all those arcade classics.
@exQUIZitely Similar to Dig Dug but you can shoot a bomb out to kill the baddies and it bounces around the tunnels you’ve dug out. The only arcade game I ever clocked and if I didn’t have to pee after hours of play I’d still be going!
@exQUIZitely They had a monthly(?) magazine Run 5 and it had, among other articles, scenarios you could enter into the editors of their games. The Final Countdown scenario for Carriers at War was awesome for fans of the movie!
@exQUIZitely In my early 20s my mate’s mum was playing Arena (odd, I know!) and she was stuck at a riddle. She asked us if we could get it. I answered “egg” and it was right. She thought her son was the smart innocent boy and I was the negative influence. Turns out we were both bad boys 😁
@exQUIZitely Played them all but Oblivion was my fav. The remaster is everything you want in a remaster - just enough QOL and graphical improvements coupled with the old game, warts and all!
@exQUIZitely The older games with simpler graphics fired the imagination and afterwards you could tell a story about your life in the game. How you conquered or saved the world, the obstacles overcome, etc, and your mind filled in the blanks. The box art for the RPGs was crucial to this too.
@exQUIZitely My (real life) city has been undergone huge pop growth in recent decades and ppl always complain about single lane roads needing to be dual carriageways or more and I always call on my Simcity experience to tell them that to do it too early will blow out your simoleans!
