🚨 08.45 UPDATE ON CORBY FIRE

NFRS was called at 4.15am today to reports of a fire at a premises on Earlstrees Industrial Estate, Corby.

On arrival, firefighters found two industrial units well alight.

There are currently nine firefighting appliances at the scene.

Please avoid Denford Road in Ringstead. We have six pumps and two aerial appliances at a large fire, which started at 6.30pm this evening (Feb 18). The fire is believed to have started in a barn before spreading to the roof and first floor of the farmhouse.

Firefighters who served alongside Barry Martin were part of his final journey today as a Turntable Ladder was used to carry his coffin.

Hundreds of people gathered in Edinburgh to pay their respects as the cortege made its way along the Royal Mile to St Giles’ Cathedral.

Thermal Runaway in a shopping centre (believe Northern Ireland), the consequences could have been so much worse.

Remember the vapour cloud holds over 100 gasses including Hydrogen, Cyanide, Toluene, Benzene, Carbon Monoxide, Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide to name just a few.
