This young man, an Nysc youth Corper was one of the people killed yesterday by terrorists on his way back to Jos from Gombe where he served his father’s land.
It’s a pity that Nigeria has been reduced to a graveyard and nothing is been done to curb the atrocities of reckless terrorists killers on our highways.
His only offense was being a Nigerian citizen, serving his father’s in another state and the decisions to come home to spend time with his family.
How long are we going to going to continue like this?
How long are we going to keep hoping that the government finally rises up to the occasion and provide efficient security for Nigerians in their homes and on the highways.
We’re not safe in our homes
We’re not safe on the highways
This is getting out of hand.
Everyday we wake up to bad news, if it’s not Jos, it’s Benue, Kaduna, Kwara, Zamfara or Kaduna.
Does it mean Nigerians shouldn’t travel anymore?
What about people who depends on traveling to meet one business needs or the other as their source of income.
May his soul rest in peace and may God give the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
CONTINUOUS ABDUCTION OF NIGERIAN SCHOOLCHILDREN AND THE COLLAPSE OF SCHOOL SAFETY
After congratulating Nigerian children as they celebrate their day today, my heart remains heavy and troubled, knowing that some Nigerian children have remained in captivity for years. It is a shame that days, weeks, months, and even years have passed while our children continue to languish in kidnappers’ dens, with their heartbreaking images still circulating on social media.
A nation that cannot protect its children from criminals has little but shame to present to the global community. No parent can bear the shame of being unable to protect his or her children, yet here we are as a nation, moving on while our children continue to suffer in forests and captivity for years. -PO
Amaka went to get pads. She wanted to get 3. Then she checked her purse, looked at the price tag, and did the math. She could only afford 1. Last month, she could afford 3 packs. Today, only a single pack.
You cannot rehabilitate a person that beheads a person.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that offs people for sport.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that kidnaps and rapes children.
