So apparently that video of Tony Elumelu buying roasted corn is from 2019, according to news reports. But even at that, this doesn't negate the fact that it's so out of place and seems very performative since he posted it himself, and also at a time when Nigerians were facing hardship (under Buhari's administration).

Again, If he likes corn so much as he portrayed, why doesn't he own a corn farm or helping corn farmers?

Some people say this shows his humility and he's relatable, which is ridiculovs, because this is the same Tony Elumelu that praised Buhari repeatedly and also praised Tinubu's reforms, same reforms that Nigerians haven't seen any significant postive impact. Two govts that have crippled our economy.

NELFUND has confirmed that 34 tertiary institutions are currently under investigation over student loan refund complaints.

The issue arose because some students paid their tuition fees before their NELFUND loans were approved.
When NELFUND later paid the same tuition fees directly to the institutions, the schools were expected to refund the students.

However, NELFUND says it has received numerous petitions alleging that some institutions delayed or failed to make those refunds.
