When a smart contract interacts with the FHEVM library, the host chain only generates a pointer to the result, no actual FHE computation occurs at that moment

Zama: Building the Network That Made Privacy Possible

Most blockchains set out to guarantee transparency.
Zama took on a harder challenge by delivering privacy that still functions directly on-chain.

With the launch of its public testnet, @zama_fhe brought Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) into practical use. This technology allows smart contracts to process encrypted data without ever decrypting it. The computations remain verifiable, while the underlying information stays private.

At the heart of this system lies the FHEVM, a reimagined Ethereum Virtual Machine. It recognizes encrypted data types such as euint256 and ebool as native elements. The FHEVM links to a Coprocessor Network that handles encrypted computations off-chain, alongside a Key Management System (KMS) that only decrypts information through distributed authorization ensuring no single participant can access the plaintext.

For developers, the workflow remains simple. They write in Solidity, deploy as usual, and exchange encrypted inputs and outputs without extra steps. Privacy isn’t an add-on or patch, it’s built directly into the computational fabric

Just finished diving deep into @zama_fhe Concrete ML, and it’s mind-blowing how it’s redefining privacy in Machine Learning.

So, what’s Concrete ML?
It’s a privacy-preserving ML framework built on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), allowing computations on encrypted data without ever decrypting it.

Think of it like this, you can train or run models on private data (like health or finance info) without ever exposing the raw values.

Built on top of Zama’s Concrete FHE library, it transforms encrypted data into usable values for secure predictions and classifications.

Traditional ML needs access to real data, but Concrete ML doesn’t. It learns and predicts while maintaining full data privacy.

In short, Zama’s Concrete ML is machine learning built with privacy at its core.
