We know that Taylor Wimpey has plans for Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) in #Edenfield but is this wise in view of the risk of landslides onto the bypass? When SuDS become mandatory later this year that risk will be "baked in" to the development plans.

Seems to be a trend emerging: a Council deciding an application on land it’s agreed to sell to the applicant! Happened at Rose Hill: Doncaster Council voted to overturn previously refused application so a developer can destroy habitat, trees & woodland on Council land. Shocking!

It may hold back ethical, desirable, sustainable development but it also allows developers to submit numerous versions of plans with slight differences to wear down local opposition. It works both ways but I think we agree, it's a terrible system.
