Une carte n’est jamais tout à fait neutre. Sur la projection de Mercator, le Groenland semble presque aussi vaste que l’Afrique, alors que l’Afrique est en réalité environ quatorze fois plus grande.

Les déformations finissent par s’installer dans les perceptions. Le moment est venu de les corriger.

C’est pourquoi, ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères abandonne cette projection déformante au profit de cartes plus fidèles aux superficies réelles, et conformes aux prescriptions des cartographes et des scientifiques.

Changer de carte ne change évidemment pas le monde. Mais corriger une représentation qui le déforme, c’est déjà faire œuvre de vérité.

Just because technology is everywhere doesn’t mean it belongs everywhere.

The tech industry wants us to believe that AI in early education is not only inevitable, but necessary. We don't see it that way.

This week, we announced a moratorium on all generative AI for public school students in 2K through 8th grade.

Because New Yorkers deserve to know that their kids will receive a high-quality education. They deserve to know that their children’s data won’t be mined by Big Tech. And they deserve to know that their children’s growth won’t be compromised for a corporation’s bottom line.

A genetically engineered pig kidney provided >9 months (271 days) of dialysis-free kidney function before successful human transplantation, supporting xenotransplantation as a potential bridge while preserving future transplant options.
Beyond the clinical milestone, the study provides new insights into late microvascular inflammation and innate immune activation that will help shape future immunosuppressive strategies and donor genetic engineering.
