Justice still fell short. 💔

So many of us are feeling this. Three years in prison is better than one day, but it doesn’t bring Breonna back. 🕊️ It doesn’t undo the violence. And it certainly doesn’t erase the fact that this administration tried to pretend her life didn’t matter.

This wasn’t just a legal failure. It was a moral one. A deliberate attempt to downplay the value of a Black woman’s life and to protect a system that continues to harm us. Breonna was in her own home. She was innocent. And still, she was taken.

The DOJ didn’t just miss the mark. They showed us exactly who they serve. Not Black families seeking justice, but those who treat justice as optional for Black lives.
