For Belles that have never planned cycle routes before but are keen to learn how, we’re doing The Beginner’s Guide to Cycle Route Planning tomorrow. Learn how to plan safe & accessible day rides & short cycle tours in a friendly group. More info & rsvp: https://t.co/fkeocBPaPU
Many thanks to @POPScotland for organising another brilliant event to the @ScotParl today, we had a great time attending and really hope politicians listen and act to make Scotland a cycle-friendly nation. #PoP2022
It’s Pedal On Parliament tomorrow! We hope to see lots of Belles at the ride. There are feeder rides from across Edinburgh and further afield if you’d like to cycle in a group to the start point. Let’s help make Scotland a great place for all of us to cycle for everyday trips ❤️
With just one sleep til tomorrow's #POP2022 ride, here's some info about how to get to the start! You can make your own way to Chambers Street for 1pm, but you can also ride there in a group. We've got you covered with lots of 'feeder rides'.

Hello folks! It’s been a while but after a 2-yr covid hiatus we are back! 🎉 Thanks to @SpokesLothian who have given us a small donation to get us on our feet for 2022. We appreciate it hugely & recommend you join - they are doing wonderful work to enable more ppl to get cycling.
Hello folks, just a quick tweet to let you know that we’ve currently suspended our rides. Fingers crossed our group rides will be up and running again soon, but in the meantime we hope you manage to get out for some much needed solo pedalling.
Thanks to the Belles who came out on our 8 mile winter warmer around the Hermitage of Braid this morning. It’s always so good to get out cycling in the winter with a friendly, sociable group 😊 The miles definitely feel less chilly!
We're looking forward to a ride up to the Pentlands on Sat 29 September. This is a lovely route that takes in four reservoirs. Why not join us? https://t.co/Dm0EIW5TfK
Thanks to the Belles for a delightful ride through the Dalmeny Estate and on to the Bridge Inn at Ratho today. Despite an angry swan and the scorching heat, we enjoyed climbing around 1000ft and a good feed. Nice one, guys 👍
Meet Barbara, a volunteer for @CyclingUKScot and @EdinburghBelles. If you're interested in volunteering in cycling, read her fab story to see how she got started: https://t.co/wAe3it9Tik
@mummycycle@breezescotland @HSBCUKBreeze Also. See in your post that you’ve been hassled by drivers on your led rides. Is the hassle on a particular route or area? Just so we know to avoid!! 🙈
@mummycycle@breezescotland @HSBCUKBreeze Thanks! 😊 our volunteer ride leaders enjoy riding, & we are lucky that there is some great leisure cycling in & around Edin to share w other women. However, we shouldn’t need to know secret utility routes to get safely from A to B! 🙄
@mummycycle@breezescotland @HSBCUKBreeze Thanks for the shout out in your article 😊 We feel the barriers women face to cycling are multiple & varied, as you point out. Until good infra, we try to enable women to enjoy cycling, learn local routes & build confidence.
