“The theft and misuse of personal information is not only criminal but can have a catastrophic impact on individuals for years to come. Identity theft can have a devastating impact on a victim’s long-term emotional and financial health."
Spoofing (changing caller ID) takes less than a minute and can be done using apps available on the App Store.
Here we see Mark Cuban talking about getting tricked through a phone scam where the attacker spoofed a Google number (Google assistant) and took over his Gmail account🧵
Naval Ravikant: “Networking is overrated… Go do something great and your network will instantly emerge.”
In the clip below, Naval gives the following advice to startup founders:
“Don’t spend your time doing meetings unless you really, really have to. I really think networking is overrated. There’s all these articles about how you’ve got to network more, and it makes me want to vomit.”
Instead he suggests:
“Go do something great and your network will instantly emerge. If you build a great product or if you get a good customer base, I guarantee you will get funded.”
Recruiting (customers and employees) and learning from really smart people are two exceptions. But don’t worry about building relationships with VCs or going to conferences early on. Just focus on your product, your team, and your users.
You come from a background of data. Only to get into office & you're telling us this.
How has his care stopped -
4500 killings
7000 kidnappings
33% inflation
44% food inflation
The worst unemployment crisis ever
Who cares if he cares? He is failing terribly at his job. Man!!!
You will be shocked or won't be shocked. I remain the same and I mean every word. There's so much you don't see. He cares - deeply! If we do a proper honest assessment of everything he has put out, our focus will be on holding the apparatus to account to deliver for our collective benefits. All I see is a leader who wants nothing but the best for us all!
Today the National Police of Ukraine, in conjunction with the Cyber Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, announced a takedown of multiple 'hacker services'.
The takedown is in partnership with the United States, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Denmark, and Germany in what is now being labeled as "Operation Endgame".
The raids disclosed today are related to 'Pikabot', 'IcedId', and 'AlexCrypt'. These malicious tools and malware campaigns are explicitly noted by the National Police of Ukraine as being in the arsenal of Russian-based Threat Groups 'BlackBasta', 'REvil', and 'Conti'.
Raids were conducted in unspecified regions of Ukraine. However, it is noted suspected developers, suspected administrators, and suspected operation organizers were raided. Furthermore, servers were 'blocked' (?), mobile devices were seized, and computer equipment was seized.

Conference panels shouldn't have more than 3 panellists and must exceed 30 minutes please.
Give them enough time to contribute deeply so the audience can understand and learn from different perspectives.
IMHO.
Okay, let’s take this seriously:
1. The Police Force as at today do not have a data of everyone arrested nor their previous criminal record if any
2. If Police arrest anyone in Asaba, there’s no way you can know in Lagos because they still run a strictly analog system. If you enter the system, it’s easy to get lost. You can be looking for someone for several years but they are with the Police but the same Police in another division will help declare them missing 😂
3. The NPF do not have any software that provides for the details of persons in their custody, their age, offence, where they were arrested and when.
4. If you steal a car in Lagos and get caught and you’re lucky to still get released, you can proceed and steal another car in Ogun state and unless someone recognizes you, you can still claim “first offender” simply because there’s no data.
5. Ask the NPF today, how many people they have in their custody nationwide, they simply don’t know. That’s the policing system we currently run
6. Having a portal to report “cybercrime” is not necessarily the issue but the fact that we don’t ever get the priorities right.
7. Also, it shows that the refusal of the Police force to actually digitize the system is intentional as it will prevent them from continuing the usual corruption.
8. Lastly, stifling free speech is easy to do than stopping crimes.
Interesting conversation so far. Two valuable things I have learned in all the decades of doing business and investing are:
1. Never make excuses for a market. A bad market is a bad market. Good is good. It is always evident.
2. Great markets are created not only discovered.
I received him in my office today. We have intervened and acted appropriately. We have asked the team to confirm certain issues raised and do the needful. We have also asked the PPRO FCT to update us all. Thanks. Ire oo.
