Not much free time tonight but managed to get a small job done. The Play and Pause functions are now part of the same button instead of being separate #indiedev#gamedev#FLoRBs#ue5
Currently working on the jump tile. Works fine when there is only one but multiple jumps happening at the same time is causing some issues #indiedev#gamedev#FLoRBs#ue5
Working on some puzzles. I have most of the mechanics finished now so time to throw them all together and see what I can come up with #indiedev#gamedev#FLoRBs
Currently spending the evening tidying up my blueprints and labelling them all so that they don't become too hard to keep on top of #indiedev#indiegame#ue5#unrealengine5
Playing around with the user interface. I want the buttons to be a part of the level so the player will interact with them in the same way as the puzzle #FLoRBs#indiedev#gamedev#ue5
I'm back to work on a smaller game that I started a couple of years ago. Mechanics are mainly finished so just have to work on more puzzles and polish #FLoRBs#RuleofFLoRB#indiegame#gamedev
UE5 question. Is it possible to copy and scale down a landscape into the same level? Think of a 3d map on a table within the world #ue5#gamedev#indiedev#indiegame
Working on some puzzle layouts. The Doors are an integral part of the puzzles. They date back to my old LittleBigPlanet "Puzzle Rooms" series #indiedev#Stack#Gamedev#LBP
I've been working on a new mechanic where you can shrink down into different puzzle areas. Lots of puzzle ideas coming out of this. #indiedev#ue5#gamedev#screenshotsaturday
Struggled with Blueprints after a couple of years off but getting back in to the swing of it now. I'm trying to be more organized this time #ue5#indiedev#IndieGameDev
@ladylyn_1 Finally got a pc after a couple of years without one. Yeah 2 buttons could be better. Just trying to work out how many other buttons are needed. Hope you are well
Looking for thoughts on using the mouse scroll wheel to pick up and put down boxes. Think of portal but being able to hold multiple boxes. Down on the wheel picks things up and up places them down. It feels quite intuitive to me but I've been doing it for a while #stack#indiedev
After a couple of years without a pc I've finally got one sorted so I'm looking forward to giving this another go. Starting again from scratch but hoping to making some quick progress
