Britain has paid the price for the last Government’s failure on energy security. Their failure to invest in clean energy left us exposed to international fossil fuel markets controlled by dictators like Vladimir Putin. I’m sure there isn’t a household in Hendon that hasn’t noticed the rising cost of energy. This is why.

We need energy independence. That means a Britain run on cleaner, affordable, homegrown power, not at the mercy of volatile fossil fuel prices. The Government’s Clean Power 2030 Action Plan is another step towards making that a reality.
