The Benin don't need to be part of a larger group in order to heard because we are a Majority. If we were a minority we would be calling ourselves Yoruba or Igbo because we are looking for voice and we can't stand alone. But we Benin are not like that. We can stand alone. We have more than enough numbers we need in Nigeria. We are proud of our identity and legacy left by for us by our ancestors. We don't need to drop our identity simply because we want elevate our political status. That is Benin for you.
