Łān mēduh to @TEDxUNBC@TEDx for giving me the opportunity to share my Tāłtān language learning journey and my passion for the revitalization and reclamation of #IndigenousLanguages

There's something else very important about the @jonstewart video.
"You go 'are you sick' and they say 'I don't want to talk about it'.
When Jon Stewart asks why you're wearing a mask, TALK ABOUT IT.
Say one of these easy things.
Pick one, learn it:
How strange is society!
People have spent 6 years downplaying Covid as nothing more than JUST the Flu to now being scared as hell of the Flu!!!
Where was that on my BINGO card!
Oh wait!
It must have been on the FAFO square!
While everyone is busy “building up their immunity” to Covid and flu, why are we stopping there?
Drink dirty water to build up immunity to cholera!
Eat raw chicken to build up immunity to salmonella!
Stop using condoms to build up immunity to STIs!
See how silly that sounds?
Medical schools need a complete overhaul. We need to see some huge changes, including in depth teachings on:
1. Airborne transmission and airborne infection control.
2. Chronic illnesses and the biological mechanisms behind them.
3. How to avoid gaslighting patients.
Let me break it down simple since the world got confused:
Airborne means the air you breathe is how the virus moves.
Not the doorknob, not the desk, not the thing that you touched —
it’s the whole damn room that’s doing too much.
Someone breathes, leaves, you walk in — boom, exposure.
The air holds receipts; surfaces got amnesia.
Every breath is a deal:
clean air = safe; dirty air = real.
That’s why masks hit, why ventilation’s legit,
why filters win fights you don’t even know you’re in.
Your friend caught COVID from a room that “seemed fine”?
Yeah — the air remembers. Surfaces don’t.
That’s the line.
In case you missed it, scientists calling "for a phased approach to establish enforceable indoor air quality performance standards in public buildings, beginning with monitoring and a workplace reporting standard."

When I find the person who made me sick, I’m gonna whoop their ass. Newsflash: 40% of people with COVID are asymptomatic. They may never get symptoms or may have gotten symptoms after you shared air with them. If you’re not masking, you are THEM! Wear N95. Stop sharing the virus
I know people who wash their towels after drying themselves once because the thought of reusing a towel seems dirty to them but also like to attend superspreaders where they suck in the breath of a thousand people.
The original sin wasn’t “antigenic sin.” It was the global disinformation campaign that misled everyone into believing SARS-CoV-2 spread by “droplets” instead of airborne aerosol particles.
That one lie shaped every catastrophic decision that followed.
The moment they collapsed everything into the vague phrase “through the air”, the public lost the distinction that actually matters:
Droplets fall.
Aerosols float, linger, accumulate, concentrate, and travel.
They knew this. They’d known it for a century. And they buried it.
Every failure—schools, workplaces, hospitals, transit, policy—flows from that deliberate obfuscation.
Far-UVC germicidal light is one of the most promising tools we have.
The other is HEPA filtration and mechanical ventilation.
Clean air is the seatbelt of the 21st century.
We could’ve prevented so much suffering simply by telling people the truth about how the virus moves.
“During covid” is right now.
“During covid” is right now.
“During covid” is right now.
“During covid” is right now.
“During covid” is right now.
“During covid” is right now.
