I've been telling people about bitcoin privately and publicly for 8+ years.
It's been a constant reminder of how difficult it is to actually help most people. Ultimately, because pride causes them to immediately reject things that don't already align with their worldview and assumptions.
Fiat inflation is not going to stop... The current system requires it.
Eventually, a single bitcoin will be worth millions of dollars and people will still be calling it a 'scam' because of ego.
Please listen to Dan Boneh (top 5 cryptographer alive today) who is known to be measured and judicious in his comments describe the probability that Bitcoin is able to transition to a post-quantum world.
Lots of opinions out there - be careful who you listen to.
My coworker's mother passed away last November.
She left her modest $190,000 house to him clear and free, no mortgage, completely paid off after thirty years of factory work.
He moved into the home in January to finally settle the estate.
Two weeks ago, a letter arrived from the state Medicaid estate recovery office.
Because his mother spent four months in a rehabilitation facility before she passed, the state quietly slapped a retroactive $114,000 lien against the property title.
He called the state health department, frantic, asking how a hospital stay could bankrupt an inherited home that had no mortgage balance.
The caseworker sighed and told him:
"Federal law requires state programs to claw back healthcare costs from deceased estates. The house cannot be sold or transferred until the balance is cleared in full."
He offered to pay a monthly settlement.
They said no. The full $114,000 is due in 60 days, or they foreclose on the property at a public auction.
A lifetime of working-class savings, wiped out overnight by a retroactive healthcare lien.
You don't own generational wealth.
You're just holding a property title until the state finds a legal mechanism to repossess it the moment you die.

Once you've been in Bitcoin long enough, you realize that 90%, if not more, of the world's problems stem from broken money.
Fix the money, fix the world.
more than half of all BTC supply is sitting in addresses with no known attribution
despite all the institutionalization and centralized ownership over the years, still a ton of bitcoin (maybe even most) is held by individuals in self-custody 🔐
Incident Update - Oct 13th, 2026
Ledger is asking resellers and distributors in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong to suspend sales of Ledger devices while the investigation is ongoing. This includes taking products off the shelves.
Specifically the countries are: Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
To be clear, as the investigation continues, the only confirmed incidents remain contained to Southeast Asia. We have not verified a drain linked to a device bought elsewhere.
The investigation is ongoing to determine who tampered with these devices and where in the distribution chain it happened. The Ledger Donjon will analyze the devices it receives, and Ledger Customer Support will provide guidance to users who reach out through our official channel: https://t.co/QzukOZecoY.
We understand this is concerning, and will continue to provide updates from the Ledger Donjon as the investigation progresses. Stay vigilant.
We have no indication that Ledger's infrastructure, systems or services or direct sales channel have been compromised.
⚠️ BITCOIN IS NOT OPTIONAL: People think it's like iPhone adoption, but it's like gunpowder adoption 💥
"Did the French army have a choice whether they should adopt gunpowder or not? Did they decide, 'No, you know what, we like to keep it real with the sticks and stones and swords, and we're not gonna use gunpowder."

BlackRock just put it in writing.
Their new "Machine-Native Economy" paper lays out the money stack for AI agents:
💵 Stablecoins = spending money
🟧 Bitcoin = savings
⚡ Compute = the new commodity
In simulations, AI models picked Bitcoin as their store of value 79% of the time.
Even the machines figured it out. When an intelligence has no emotions, no politics, and no central bank to protect, it chooses hard money to save in.
Stablecoins are the checking account. Bitcoin is the vault.
The world's largest asset manager just handed Bitcoin the most valuable job in the machine economy.
Stack Accordingly ⚡️
‼️ If you work hard for your money, take 2 minutes and listen to @LukeGromen
I’ve been telling you for years that we were born into a financial lie.
Save in cash, get punished.
Work for wages, fall behind.
Own assets and debt, get rewarded.
Ignoring it now is financial suicide.
#Bitcoin in self-custody is the opt-out.
It’s simply better money.
The question is whether you act before the lesson becomes personal.
