Now - Stateless Rohingya refugees in #lka protest outside UNHCR #lka. Expressing concern about UNHCR closing office without arranging permanent resettlement, stopping monthly allowances for food, housing, clothes etc. & other services.
The anger and hatred directed at the #Rohingya in 🇮🇩 appear to be fueled by external parties via hate speech on social media. The hate speech has seemingly influenced and, in some cases, brainwashed the #Indonesian people. This mob attack on the Rohingya is deeply concerning.
