People back to work. Not to save lives, not to help them, but to make them functional productive economic units. Am I the only one seeing the utter disgusting hypocrisy here?
Sorry let me get this right. Wes Street ING is steadily trying to tear back rights and access to HRT for trans people and puberty blockers for trans teens, because he's worried about the lack of long term data... But then is planning on rolling out a very new drug just to get

@ScholarPriest I remember after going through a local selection panel, that I was told several weeks later by the DDO "we now have a file on you, that you will never see". I had been open about my sexuality, sex life, attractions, everything. I felt like I had been exposed and then hidden.
@BishGloucester Really? Really? In the midst of all that is coming to light one of the few words from the silent wall that is the College of Bishops is this?
The CofE will defrock clergy entering into a perfectly legal same sex civil marriage and deprive you of your living but appoint you to an episcopal see if you do an illegal and irregular ordination. Good to know.
I increasingly come across places in church life where members of a majority implore โpatienceโ from a minority that they themselves need never endure or imagine.
This is not a virtue - it is an oppression, however much it is slathered in honey and made to smell sweet.

China is extremely concerned with the civil unrest in the UK, and attacks on ethnic minorities.
We urge the UK government to do everything in their capacity to ensure the safety of minorities.
China reserves the right to intervene if the situation in the UK does not improve.
I talk to normal people about the goings on within the CofE. The number of people who are shocked that there are areas where these behaviours are accepted (possibly even encouraged) is abhorrent to them. I won't be back with CofE any time soon.
Many will be enormously grateful to Steven Croft the Bishop of Oxford for this robust & forensic response to those who have indicated they will set up their own โparallelโ church rather than accept the tentative moving of the Holy Spirit in the decisions & the mind of the broad church of @synod@churchofengland:
โI am afraid this has to be named for what it is: a proposal for a deep and disproportionate schism in the life of the Church of England and, surely, a proposal which will grieve Anglicans in every place.
On the one hand you are openly criticizing the bishops for uncanonical processes. However, at the same time, you declare your intention to act unilaterally, outside any formal and transparent process of consultation or Synod or legal structure or theological reflection or recognisable ecclesiology but through a set of actions determined in closed rooms.โ Letโs unite behind our compromise https://t.co/YdwJiC9J4v
My father (68, white, straight, male): "Hey, can you explain this bear in the woods thing to me? I don't understand. Obviously, women would rather meet a random gay man in the woods. But why does he have to be a bear?"
