"Well there we are," says Bridget Phillipson, clutching her pearls about Nigel Farage's £5 million donation like she's the moral arbiter of British politics.
Oh, sweetheart. Sit down. Let me explain this slowly, using small words so you understand.
You want to talk about "sleaze" and people who think "the rules don't apply to them"? Let's take a little trip down memory lane to your own backyard, shall we?
The Wearside Women in Need "Administrative Error"
Your mother, Clare Phillipson, ran a domestic violence charity, Wearside Women in Need. How noble. How virtuous. How... convenient that allegations of financial mismanagement, missing charity accounts, and fraudulent use of £728,000 in government grants somehow never resulted in charges.
The accounts went missing. The funding was questionable. And yet miraculously no prosecution. Just a quiet retirement. How very fortunate for the Phillipson family.
And you, Bridget, you worked for your mother at this charity. You built your "working-class" credentials on this foundation. Tell us, did you notice anything irregular while you were there?
Just weeks ago, Labour MP Karl Turner announced he is suing his own party over "hostile briefings and smears" about his mental health. His crime? Questioning whether Morgan McSweeney's phone was really "stolen" (the same phone containing messages about Lord Mandelson's Epstein connections). For this, Starmer stripped him of the whip. Then No 10 allegedly weaponized Turner's mental health history to silence him. This is the "decency" Bridget lectures from.
But please, Bridget, lecture us more about "sleaze."
Andy Burnham and his new Energy Secretary said they would be ‘pragmatic’ when it came to the North Sea.
But this morning Miatta Fahnbulleh confirmed they will BAN all new oil and gas licences.
How is it pragmatic to favour gas from Norway, the US or Qatar over gas from Britain?
“Now is the time to put our differences aside and cooperate for the good of the country we both love.” — @RupertLowe10
A fractured opposition to organised socialist dominance sounds the death knell for Britain.
Well done Rupert Lowe for putting country first and seeking to unite the right.
I left school at 15yrs & went into full-time employment.
Married at 19yrs & went on & had 2 children.
We paid taxes all our working life
We eventually paid our mortgage off, helped our children get on the property ladder.
I certainly am not prepared to allow this government to take everything we have worked hard for in order to pay for others that just stroll into this country & are given everything for free.
There are a lot of others in the same situation who’ve always done right by this country.
We as a family have not taken a penny in benefits from this country.
This government needs to get their priorities right & start treating UK Citizens with the respect they deserve.

He’s laid it on the line for @reformparty_uk
If they accept, we have a genuine right wing coalition/party. If they don’t, watch the Reform voters transition to Restore!
🚨BREAKING: Rupert Lowe offers pact with Nigel Farage to defeat the left and take our country back
THIS IS HUGE
Rupert has asked Nigel to agree to these points and a deal is on the table to unite Restore Britain and Reform UK
- End mass immigration, start mass deportations
- White Britons must NOT become a minority in the UK
- Reverse the Islamification of Britain and declare us a Christian Country
- Referendum on the Death Penalty
- Make Britain self sufficient again, we live within our means and cut massive welfare spending
- No failed Conservative MP's allowed in Government
That's the deal.
Would you take it?

There is no “global temperature.”
It is a statistical construct, not a physical quantity. You cannot average intensive thermodynamic variables across a non-equilibrium system and call the result a temperature.
So there is no “global warming” either.
What exists is LOCAL warming. And the majority of it over the past 150 years traces to three anthropogenic mechanisms that have nothing to do with CO2:
1. Urban heat island. Waste heat, albedo loss, reduced evapotranspiration, boundary layer trapping. Directly under and around the very thermometers that define the “record.”
2.Sulfates and carbonaceous particles. Black carbon absorbs. Soot on snow and ice drops albedo. Nocturnal haze suppresses outgoing longwave. Semi-direct effects burn off low cloud.
3. Contrails and contrail cirrus. High, cold ice crystals trap outgoing longwave. Warmer nights under flight corridors. The 9/11 grounding measured it.
Strip these out and there is nothing left that requires a trace gas.
POST OFFICE BANKRUPTED A MAN FOR ASKING FOR HELP 91 TIMES
Lee Castleton spent 9 years in the RAF, then worked as a stockbroker in the City. In 2003 he and his wife decided they wanted a slower life for their two young kids. They sold their home and bought a small Post Office branch in Bridlington, on the seafront.
Within a year the dream job turned into a nightmare. His accounts started showing losses that made no sense. So he did the responsible thing and called the Horizon helpline. Then he called it again. And again. 91 times in 12 weeks, begging someone to explain where the money was going.
Nobody could tell him. The Post Office's answer to being told 91 times that their own system was broken was to audit him, suspend him, and demand he pay back 25,000 pounds he never touched.
Castleton had no money left for a lawyer so he represented himself in the High Court, alone, against an organisation with a government sized legal budget. He lost. The Post Office then chased him for 321,000 pounds in legal costs and bankrupted him.
That is the reward for reporting a fault 91 times. Bankruptcy.
The fallout went well beyond the shop. His kids were bullied at school. His daughter was spat at because people in town assumed her dad was a thief. His wife's health suffered under the strain. All because a computer system got the maths wrong and nobody at the top wanted to admit it.
In 2019 Castleton was one of over 550 former postmasters who won a group settlement of 58 million pounds. He personally received 20,000 pounds, a rounding error next to what the case cost him. He was even locked out of a mediation scheme the Post Office ran for people who believed they had been wrongly pursued.
Years later former Post Office chief executive Paula Vennells told the Horizon IT Inquiry under oath that Castleton's treatment was unforgivable. She also said she had likely signed off on the 300,000 pound bill that ruined him. Unforgivable is one word for it. There are others.
Castleton is now suing the @PostOffice and @fujitsu_uk for up to 8 million pounds, arguing the original 2007 judgment against him was obtained by fraud. In May 2026 the Court of Appeal ruled his case should be heard as one trial instead of being split into pieces designed to bury it in cost and delay. A small win. Nearly two decades late.
He wanted a quieter life running a post office by the sea. Instead he became one of the clearest examples of what happens when an institution would rather bankrupt an innocent man than admit its software was broken.

The Quran is nothing more than the work of a 7th-century Bedouin, a man whose idea of paradise was shaped by the material desires of a desert warrior, not by divine wisdom.
If the Quran were truly from God, it would reflect eternal, spiritual truths, not a Bedouin’s fantasy of luxury filled with couches, tents, and drinkware.
Look at the absurdly primitive rewards it promises in paradise:
•Cups to drink from – “Therein will be raised couches, and cups set at hand.” (Quran 88:13-14)
•Carpets and tents – “Chaste maidens restrained in pavilions.” (Quran 55:72)
•Beds and couches – “Reclining upon couches lined with brocade.” (Quran 55:54)
•Leaning on cushions – “Reclining therein upon adorned couches.” (Quran 36:56)
This is not a vision of heaven, it’s the dream of a man who spent his life sleeping in a tent on the desert floor, bribing his followers with fantasies of silk cushions, goblets of wine, and women hidden away in luxurious tents.
Muhammad’s idea of paradise is nothing but an upgraded desert campsite.
Muhammad was motivating his jihadists, promising them the very things they lacked in the harsh deserts of Arabia.
He wasn’t offering a path to enlightenment; he was selling paradise like a merchant pushing luxury goods in a marketplace.
And of course, he didn’t stop at furniture and drink, he added virgins, rivers of wine, and young boys to serve them (Quran 78:33, Quran 76:19).
What kind of God promises sex slaves and alcohol as a divine reward? The answer is simple: a false god, invented by a man who knew how to manipulate warriors into dying for him.
Islam’s paradise exposes the Quran for what it truly is, not divine revelation, but the materialistic fantasy of a 7th-century Bedouin warlord who bribed men with couches and cups of wine to send them to die in battle.
Was in islamischen Ländern passiert ist kein Zufall.

Jack Charlton’s son has given up his father’s World Cup medal over the inheritance tax bill…
John Charlton handed the heirloom to his mother to avoid a £200,000 HMRC demand following his father’s death in 2020.
So Jack Charlton won a medal for his country and our Government wants his family to pay tax on it when he dies.
A World Cup gold medal no less, the most prized possession in all of sports.
Shame, Shame, SHAME.
Our country has warped and our government is anti-British.
