@Dartmoor_AC Hi Adrian, I did a similar thing with deer pastes and blocks to bring as many into our woodpasture areas as we could whilst leaving other areas for natural regen. Didn't give sweeping results but definitely made a difference and was very cost effective.

@tjcsimpson Hedges. Cover crops could be seen as one of the tools in the tool box an a valuable one at that but of limited wildlife value when they get ploughed up again. Reinstatement of hedges would help in this landscape for soil conservation and wildlife.

@leeinthelakes Totally agree Lee. It's such a shame we have such polar extreme arguments on all sides. One size never fits all, let's hope we can all be positive about each and every positive step people make and help those who are getting it wrong with encouragement and praise.
