@cytrusf1 The penalty was awarded in the final 3 laps of the race so they don’t need to serve it at a pit stop. A 10s penalty is the “(b)” referenced in the Sporting Regs.
Extremely happy that 25 years ago today this happened. Growing up supporting @HillF1 was a massive contributor to my love for F1, which ended up developing into my career.
@HillF1@CroftyF1 Just got around to watching heat 1 of the @SkySportsF1 quiz. I agree with Damon - the first chicane at Montreal is definitely T3/4. No way is that right hand kink a corner.
@jayegan Don’t worry, plenty of time to get back into the swing of things. We need the alert level to come down to 3 before we can go back to work. It’s currently at 55,000.7
@jayegan Actually, it’s even worse than that!! It’s a + in that “equation”, so the alert level will always be greater than the number of infections. (Unless R goes massively negative, of course). Had a good laugh at that last night - who writes this nonsense???
@JacquiOatley Ah yes, not being given a yellow card for removing shirt. EXACTLY the same thing as two clear cut penalty appeals turned down, a red card being incorrectly not given, and a hideous offside goal (offside by 2 players!!). I guess it’s true, they do balance out over a season!!!
