I’m launching my campaign for California Insurance Commissioner, the most important job you might not have heard of.
The $3 trillion insurance industry has, for too long, put profits over people. It’s time to hold them accountable and stand up to corporate greed.
I have three major policy plans to make insurance affordable and accessible for working people: Natural Disaster Insurance for All, caps on insurance profits and CEO pay, and guaranteed healthcare for kids.
I’m the only candidate who has pledged not to take a dime from insurance companies.
It’s time to put the Insurance Commissioner office to work for the people of California.

Thank you, California, for drawing the line!
Tonight, we defended our working families and democracy from Trump’s corruption and cruelty.
This resounding victory once again proves to the nation that America’s greatness is our goodness.
The planned invasion by federal immigration enforcement agents isn’t meant to make us safe, it’s meant to make us scared. But the Bay knows better.
They won’t make us safe. We will.
California is where we draw the line.
Washington D.C. politicians are gutting health care to give tax breaks to billionaires — and guess what? Working families are sick of it.
We’re going to pass Prop 50 and give working people the power to hold them accountable.

@A_New_Train 3. There’s more work to do on safety—it was a core focus of my campaign
4. This platform is more of an echo chamber and actively censors the media, among others
5. This is a great example of why many leave — good faith discussion isn’t the point, rage bait is, and I’m opting out
Hi friends 👋 I’m not likely to be very active here going forward, for the same reasons so many have left and are leaving.
You can catch me elsewhere with the same @, including bl**sk*
@A_New_Train 1. I’m happy to compare my qualifications for the office 87k people elected me to against anyone’s
2. Ambassadors and crisis intervention specialists have supported BART PD in doing their jobs, and reduced officer response times to 4 minutes
San Francisco — Thank you for resoundingly voting for an oceanfront park! Prop K’s approval is a victory for all who will soon be able to walk, roll, and enjoy the coast in new ways, every day.

Grateful for all the hard working journalists who continue to hustle & bring us news + perspective despite having to personally deal with the realities + impacts of election night. I see y'all.
Thank you, San Francisco.
We were outspent 3:1, but we were never out-worked.
And we won. By 24 points.
I am so thankful for your trust in me.
Now we’ve got work to do.
So proud of the multi-racial, multi-generational grassroots campaign we’ve built this past year and a half. Thank you to all the supporters and volunteers out in the field today.
It’s been an honor to have your support ☀️
