Great to welcome @jakepaul to the Treasury Department today.
Jake’s path from content creator to entrepreneur and professional boxer is a distinctly American story. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
All this talk about aligned incentives, blah blah blah. Show me through the mechanism and the protocol. Right now, Canton's tokenomics are bad. If most network activity doesn't actually burn any tokens and create demand for the token, that's the same structural setup as any utility themed shitcoin, and the price shows it.
The only reason I'm still holding CC is the transparency from Yuval Rooz. Other projects have value capture that's actually working, live, at scale, right now. I'm stacking ahead of the universal burn CIP and DTCC full launch in October, betting it moves price. But until that CIP is live and verifiably working, we're betting on a promise, not fundamentals.
@thecryptoHodl@CatfishFishy And your a fuckin retard who thinks your life is gonna change holding a shit coin that doesn’t accrue value to holders, I can’t wait watch u dumb fucks loose it all
@AlewXRP Ripple is engaging in what I can only describe as legal fraud. XRP is vaporware. No revenue, no value capture, astronomical insider allocation (even by crypto standards). Its going to get exposed for the garbage it is once smart money enters the market at scale.
I mean…the reality is that until the CIP for universal burn goes into effect and demonstrates that it works at the protocol level, canton-network:native will probably continue to trade sideways with price surges and pullbacks after headlines like you mentioned. Just gonna sell and renter until prices stabilizes and appreciates from actual usage-tied demand.
@Bird_XRPL I hate you XRP influencers with a passion. All you guys do is spread hopium bullshit. How about you worry about surpassing the ATH? which was…8 years ago 🤣🤣🤣
Someone with common sense. Supply math isn’t a technicality, it’s the whole game. Even a small burn requires actual sustained transaction fee volume to matter, and XRP’s fees are near zero by design. The supply problem doesn’t fix itself without either drastically higher usage or Ripple actually giving up the escrow, and neither is happening.
No value capture, constant insider dilution via escrow unlocks, a velocity model that rewards NOT holding the token, and zero revenue flowing back to holders or the ecosystem. Even Ripple is hedging with RLUSD now, because their own clients want price stability and lower reconciliation risk, not XRP’s volatility. Tell me again why holders should feel different?
@thejnelsonway lol I did. I’m just saying, if you have to come up with conspiracies to justify your bags, maybe it’s time to reevaluate what you hold. It’s borderline schizophrenic 💀
