About 20 years ago I bought a copy of Silent Hill 2 on my original Xbox and fell in love with the series. Fast forward 20 years later and I get to officially announce that I’m working on a Silent Hill project as a game designer.
Life can be so surprising sometimes.
@The_Hypist@Stealth40k There’s also a cool assist mode that lets you modify the difficulty substantially. Must own for anyone of any skill level I think
This interview is a must watch for fans of #Mina, Yacht Club Games, Pixel Art, or game dev in general. There’s so much behind the scenes information in this video that had me hooked as a fan, game designer, and amateur pixel artist. Check it out!

Mina the Hollower just hit #1 on the Switch 2 eShop (US).
It's the first non-Nintendo published game to do so in a long time.
@YachtClubGames should be very happy with that!
MINA IS OUT! 🐭
It hasn't sunk in. It's been a wild 6 years and feels weird not waking up and going to my desk to pixel new sprites. Her adventure has finally come to a close for me so she could start a new one with all of you.
From the bottom of my 8x8px heart--Thank You. 💟
Mina the Hollower achieves the same heights in both action and style that its impressive inspirations – Zelda, Castlevania, and FromSoft RPGs – reach on a regular basis, and with far fewer resources.

Game's out in less than 2 weeks!! 🤯

@pixeltao@PastaF3et I remember loving this when I was in high school.
The pixel art still holds up after all these years. I saw this post a few hours ago and have been desperately trying to find my copy.
I can’t find it anywhere. I’m dying to play it now.
@MyNintendoNews It comes down to the business/cultural differences. In Japan, they didn’t need a pack-in title to sell. A low entry price could send an idea of a product’s quality. Not in the U.S. It desperately needed a pack-in, and Reggie was right. There’s a reason why he was President of NoA
