@Liv_Agar also interesting that white people are higher in self reported sadness and hopelessness than black people. Maybe social norms about how to self-narrativize effect how people answer survey questions more than material conditions and we should be centering different data

@Liv_Agar This graph says nothing about loneliness, it's self reported sadness not time spent socializing or number of close friends. It can both be the case that society coddles men and accepts women's depression and that technology has undermined men's socialization in a unique way.
