@NCRCisLIT A4: The summer book club was a great idea, it was fun to meet a North Dakota author - purchase her books and share them with the kids - plus hear how she got started, and listen to other professionals talk about their ideas!
@NCRCisLIT A3: At school, we read The Little Old Lady Who Wasnβt Afraid of Anything (one of my faves!) and an adapted book about spiders. For pleasure: I am about to start The Home for Unwanted Girls.
@NCRCisLIT A2: I use books when I do language groups with the early childhood classrooms. I usually go for books that are simple, books that I can use manipulatives to support comprehension, and they typically follow the theme for the unit. I definitely have favorites!!
