I found it interesting that this theory opened up the multiverse theory and that before looking at the cat it is both dead and alive simultaneously in superposition. #msmithchem
I wonder how they figured out that electrons behave similar to Schrodingner’s cat if whenever they tried to observe an electron it would always change? #msmithchem
After Video: 1) In beta radiation, how does one element become another if all that is emitted is an electron, wouldn’t the number of protons, and therefore the element remain the same.
2) Another question I had is how much does it take to stop gamma radiation? #msmithchem
Before Video: I think that nuclear decay has something to do with atoms being unstable and doing stuff to become more stable but in this process, in releases energy, and that energy is radiation. #msmithchem
I thought that it was interesting that the nucleus is generally stable and does not do very much, while the electrons are always active and cause chemical properties in the atom. One question I had: How do they measure the mass of a subatomic particle? #msmithchem
