🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. stopped another Iranian tanker, this time in the Malacca Strait...

CENTCOM announced the USS Rafael Peralta intercepted the M/T Stream, a crude oil tanker flying under the Iranian flag, after it attempted to sail to an Iranian port.

The vessel was last reported in the Malacca Strait 13 days ago, which means the U.S. Navy is now actively enforcing the blockade roughly 4,500 miles from the Persian Gulf.

The Stream joins the Majestic X and the Tifani as the latest Iran-linked tankers seized by American forces.

.@VP: I've seen various organizations like @nytimes, @CNN, and others pick up and run the original 10-point proposal based on little more than a random yahoo in Iran submitting it to public access television in the country of Iran, and then them saying that somehow represents the negotiating position of the government. It’s the equivalent of let’s say a Democrat councilman in Boise, Idaho, saying something crazy, the local public access TV picking up that crazy statement, and then the New York Times running that as the position of @POTUS. It doesn't make an ounce of sense.

In the past few hours, this is the only message I’ve received from Iran. The sender wrote:

“Our connection to the outside world has been completely cut off. Everyone has been warned that anyone who connects to the open internet will be arrested. When the internet is cut, people start losing hope because we have no idea what’s happening outside.
Please be our voice and tell the world that we’ve been taken hostage by them.”

Right now the Islamic Republic has imposed one of the most severe internet shutdowns on 90 million people in Iran. Their lives are at risk.
If you truly care about the people of Iran, amplify their call. Be their voice, not someone speaking in their place

به شما، به شجاعت و فداکاری‌تان درود می‌فرستم. در سه ماه گذشته، هزاران تن از شما در هسته‌های کوچک اما مؤثر در سراسر ایران جلوه‌هایی درخشان از دلاوری آفریده‌اید. آنچه شما کرده‌اید برای سده‌ها روایت خواهد شد. ملت ایران فداکاری شما و بهایی را که به‌ویژه در ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی برای آزادی میهن پرداخته‌اید هرگز فراموش نخواهد کرد.

در عین حال، حفظ جان خود را در اولویت قرار دهید چرا که حضور شما در نبرد نهایی برای حفاظت از سیل میلیونی جمعیت، لازم و ضروری است.

شما از تبار رستم و کاوه‌اید و دشمنان شما از جنس ضحاک. در این نبرد خیر و شر، میان نور و تاریکی، شما در سوی درست تاریخ ایستاده‌اید و امید و دعای یک ملت بزرگ بدرقه راه شماست.
