Today’s savage attack by Israeli Occupation Forces on baptist hospital in central #Gaza is an egregious violation of international humanitarian and human rights law, specifically the Geneva Convention. It’s a morally reprehensible crime which violates the principles of humanity and the laws of war by attacking unarmed civilians, sick and wounded including children needing care at a protected medical facility. Warrants not just the condemnation in strongest terms across the board but accountability through international legal mechanisms for these war crimes. UN and it’s member states must act towards immediate cessation of hostilities, operationalization of humanitarian corridor for safe passage of civilians and allowing humanitarian aid.
🚨 @UNFPA strongly condemns the strike on the al-Ahli hospital in #Gaza that has reportedly killed hundreds of people.
Attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure must cease, and healthcare facilities must never be a target.

🔎 @Amnesty has verified 6 videos of an attack on 13 October 2023, resulting in civilian casualties along Salah-Al Deen street, a route the Israeli army had designated as safe for civilians to flee after an Israeli ‘order’ told them to leave northern #Gaza.

UAE marriage age is 18, Indonesia is 18 & Turkey is also 18. Are they not Muslim countries? In Sindh where marriage age is 18, we saw how law stopped an adult marrying a 10 year old! Every 20 minutes a girl dies in Pakistan as a result of underage pregnancy. #EndChildMarriage
@gulraizkhan@pbsbrtsindh I take this route on my way back from work. From 2 talwar to numaish. Indeed a blessing. I wish this route was longer though, upto nazimabad, with more buses. Would resolve my commute issues for good.
A radical shift from private transport to public transport is required if we need to ensure energy security and reorient our trade bill and deficit position. This will also ensure higher disposable income for the labour force as the overall cost of transportation would reduce.

A crowd of NURSES protesting for HEALTHCARE and better wages...police responds with "lathi charge". Smart move. Beating the people without whom hospitals can't run is super smart...(also, how can hospital staff not have healthcare?) https://t.co/AdhMsq8H7v
